Unfortunately cancer's reach is a long one. As it stands in our lifetimes it is a certainty that we will experience cancer in some personal way. So we all should have a reason to help fight it. I'm not a medical professional, scientist, or wealthy philanthropist so my options for finding a cure and helping those suffering from cancer are pretty limited. But if there's two things I'm good at, its sticking to a workout routine and relentlessly annoying people over email.
So thank you for donating to the Society's Team In Training and for giving me a tenuous audience over the next six months to share my turmoil, both physical and mental. Though the bar is set pretty high, I'm confident that you all will help me to reach it. And please check in often, because there's nothing worse than being a clown with nobody there to laugh at you.

Now, I want something in exchange. j/k! that's awesome that you are doing this. go you and dale! =) you best put my name somewhere on your jersey. lol! =) or your body, whichever. it's ok if it's not permanent. and take pictures! post it! lol! that would be awesome. lol! bet you would get more donations if you offered to write the person's name on your body and take a picture. lol! ahhh... just the giggle I get from thinking you would entertain such a thought is worth the suggestion. =) josette
